The Public Establishment for Trade and Industry of Corsica (EPCIC) is hosting the 5th OliveOilMedNet project meeting in Bastia (Corsica) from 25 to 27 March 2026, at the Consular Hotel (1 Rue Adolphe Landry – 20293 Bastia Cedex).
Over three days, project partners and key stakeholders from the olive oil sector will meet to review progress, share tools and best practices, and strengthen cooperation for more authentic and greener olive oil value chains.
Highlight: the 5th Project Steering Committee meeting
This hybrid steering committee focuses on project implementation and key outputs, including:
- testing and authenticity reports and socio-economic & environmental evaluation updates,
- the Authentic Olive Data Bank and the authenticity digital software,
- final/draft methodology handbooks (authenticity demonstration, sustainable growing & production, assessment guide),
- the draft Catalogue of Authentic & Green Olive Oil Products,

A programme combining peer learning, networking and field visits
The meeting in Corsica also features:

- a Hybrid Demonstration Event (25 March, 16:30–18:00) focused on networking, with contributions on local success stories, olive oil & agritourism and the AOP Oliu di Corsica quality label.
- a Study Visit (26 March) with on-site experiences and meetings with local olive growers (Oliu Ottavi, Oltremonti).
- the Kick-off Assembly of the MedOliveOilNet network (27 March, 10:00–12:30), including project outputs, the 2026 work plan and the appointment of the Steering Committee and Secretariat.
